Hello BAC Patrons!
I hope everyone is having a happy, safe and warm holiday season!
I have some exciting news to start today’s post. I will be representing BAC at a Burlingame City Council meeting in January. Pre-construction, once per year the BAC Director would come before the Council to promote our programs and show our positive impact on the community. This will be our first presentation since 2018. We would be so appreciative to any community members who would be willing to take the time to write a short quote on how BAC has made a positive impact on their lives or the local community as a whole, particularly in the last year. We are specifically interested in hearing from our lap swimmers! Your voices are powerful and are sure to make a meaningful impact on the Council. Anyone who is willing to share can send quotes directly to me: rob@burlingameaquatics.com
Date, time, and viewing instructions for the meeting will be forthcoming.
Lastly, we are working hard to put together safe and fun options for swim lessons. In the past we have not offered lessons in the colder months, but it is our intention to bring back private and semi-private lessons as early as February. If you are interested in getting yourself on the contact list for those programs, feel free to send me a note. Our fingers are crossed in hopes that we can bring back group lessons this summer!
Important reminder! The BHS pool will be closed from January 15–31 for required maintenance. We are working hard trying to acquire pool space for as many programs as we can at other sites for those two weeks, but we do expect most of our programming to go on hiatus. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Thanks for reading. As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or just want to talk aquatics, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
